}USE WHEN you hold ONE registry identifier (from a paper, a news story, another database) and need to know whether it is the same real-world study as another identifier, or where else it is registered. Give any known id — NCT, ISRCTN, EUCT or EudraCT — and get back the canonical trial, every registry that holds it, the exact identifier evidence linking those registrations, and which registries it is absent from. Absence means absent from OUR index of that registry, not proof it was never registered there. NEXT: get_world_trial with the returned canonicalId for the full record.

}USE BEFORE PRESENTING TRIAL EVIDENCE AS CURRENT OR WORLDWIDE. Returns every upstream registry with its base URL, API type, licence, record count, last successful synchronisation time, degraded flag and live schema-contract verdict. This is how you answer "is this really worldwide, and how old is it?" honestly: a registry that is degraded or has not synchronised recently makes your result partial, and you should label it partial. NEXT: get_trial_stats for the resulting counts, or search_world_trials with an explicit `registry` when you deliberately want single-registry evidence.

Optional arguments narrow it to one objective or one difficulty level. NEXT: get_registry_sources to establish scope, then the trial tools named in the traversal.

Also returns the curated 2026 crypto token-generation-event list scored by how much capital widens access versus concentrates in insiders, contrasted with live cure-research capital. NEXT: get_mind_signal for the capital levels behind the momentum. Set series=false to slim the payload.

}USE BEFORE STATING ANY WORLDWIDE COUNT. Answers: how many DISTINCT trials exist for this query across every registry in the index, how many are the same trial registered more than once, which trials are exclusive to each registry, and exactly how much you would have overcounted by querying each registry separately and adding the results (`inflation`). This is the tool that stops you turning separate registry totals into one wrong number. Accepts the same filter vocabulary as search_world_trials so a coverage figure always describes the population you actually searched. NEXT: search_world_trials for the records themselves, get_trial_landscape for their structure.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| q | string | Free-text condition/intervention query, e.g. "type 1 diabetes islet". Tokens are ANDed. |
| phase | string | Comma-separated phases: 1-4, I-IV, early_phase1, or 1/2. Phase is missing for much of the corpus. |
| topic | string | Cure Protocol topic id (get_trial_stats lists them). |
| status | string | recruiting | active_not_recruiting | not_yet_recruiting | completed | halted | terminated | withdrawn | not_authorised | unknown, or "active" for any open status (recruiting + active_not_recruiting + not_yet_recruiting). Case-insensitive; unknown values return 400. |
| country | string | Recruiting/site country: full English name or ISO code (US, USA, UK, DE, ...). |
USE WHEN you need the SHAPE of a research field rather than a list of its members: phase / status / study-type mix, sponsor concentration, enrollment scale, the completed-but-unreported results gap, momentum over 30/90/365 days, and a real diff against a stored earlier snapshot. READ `fieldCompleteness` BEFORE QUOTING ANY DISTRIBUTION — if phase is recorded for a quarter of a registry's records, the phase mix describes that quarter, not the field. `evidenceGap` reports the reporting failure per registry and deliberately refuses to publish a combined figure when the registries' results flags are not comparable. NEXT: search_world_trials to inspect the trials behind a bucket, get_trial_coverage to check how much of the population is duplicate registrations.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| q | string | Free-text condition/intervention query, e.g. "type 1 diabetes islet". Tokens are ANDed. |

USE WHEN you have a trial (canonicalId from search_world_trials) and need the PUBLISHED RESEARCH around it, or when you want to find related registrations in registries this index does not ingest. Returns three separately-labelled layers: (1) registryDeclared — publications the registry record itself declares, with kind=results/background/derived/protocol, the strongest available evidence that a trial reported; (2) literature — Europe PMC records whose indexed text or accession list mentions one of the trial’s registration identifiers, with journal, year, DOI/PMID, open-access flag and citation count; (3) crossRegistryMentions — OTHER registry identifiers (ANZCTR, ChiCTR, JPRN, DRKS, CTRI, CTIS and more) found in the title/abstract of that literature, each flagged inIndex true/false. THIS IS A SIDECAR: nothing it returns is in the trial index or in any count, and an identifier with inIndex=false is a literature mention only — never report it as a trial this index holds. NEXT: get_world_trial for the canonical record, find_trial_registrations to check for double-counting.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| limit | integer | Maximum literature hits per identifier searched. |
| include | string | Comma-separated sections: declared, literature, crossref. Default all three. |

}USE WHEN orienting on the trial corpus or answering a whole-index count. Returns the total source-record count, the deduplicated canonical trial count, how many are currently active, the per-registry attribution, and the curated topic ids you can pass as `topic` to the other trial tools. Counts are never summed across registries — each registry's contribution is reported separately alongside the distinct total. The top-level counts cover the whole index; `diseaseDomains` gives the unique totals for the 15 disease domains (the same figures as get_mission_map and list_research_diseases) plus how many trials match no domain, so the two always reconcile. NEXT: search_world_trials to query it, get_registry_sources for licence and sync freshness per registry.

}Integrate a declared mass-action model with unperturbed controls, scheduled parameter changes, numerical verification, sensitivity bounds and optional observations. Read twin_experiment_guide first. Returns a replay manifest and raw errors, never a disease cure claim. No remote code or learned-model weights are downloaded or executed.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| arms* | array | 1 to 4 intervention arms: {id, startStep, rateMultipliers {reactionId: 0 to 10}}. A baseline arm is added automatically. |
| model* | object | Mass-action model: {id, version, context, scope, provenance, timeUnit, concentrationUnit, species[{id, initial}], reactions[{id, rate, reactants, products}], conservedPools}. Up to 16 species and 24 reactions. See twin_experiment_guide. |
| steps | integer | Number of output time steps, 4 to 100. Default 40. |
| dataset | object | Optional dataset declaration for the observations: {id, citation (https), sha256, kind, split, independentOfModelFit}. |
| duration* | number | Simulated time span in model.timeUnit, greater than 0 and at most 1000. Example 48. |
| uncertainty | array | Up to 3 reactions with {reaction, low, high} rate bounds for sensitivity runs. |

PRIMARY TRIAL TOOL. USE WHEN you need actual clinical-trial RECORDS for a disease, intervention, sponsor, country or date window. Searches DISTINCT real-world trials across the admitted PRIMARY registries — ClinicalTrials.gov (US NIH) and ISRCTN (UK) — deduplicated by exact cross-registry identifier match, so a trial registered twice is returned ONCE, not twice. Secondary aggregators are deliberately excluded, so the index is registry-authoritative but NOT a census of every country. Every result is evidence-ready: canonical id, normalized status/phase/study type/enrollment/countries/primary endpoints, the registries that hold it, source URLs, retrieval timestamps, payload checksums and a quotable `citation` block. HOW TO NARROW: use q for the disease, then intervention to separate MODALITIES within that disease (e.g. "stem cell", "encapsulation", "gene edit", "xenotransplant") — running several intervention-scoped searches is how you build a comparative landscape. Use status="active" for currently-running human studies. SCOPE WARNING: omit `registry` to keep the answer worldwide; supplying it makes the result single-registry evidence and you must label it as such. ROWS ARE COMPACT by default (20 per page, about 10 KB); pass include="full" only when you need endpoints, eligibility or locations, or call get_world_trial for one trial. COUNTING: read data.totalCanonical or call get_trial_coverage; do NOT page through results to count. Page with _meta.pagination.nextUrl only when you need more records to read. Status/phase/studyType/country are case-insensitive and normalized (US = USA = United States; 1 = I = PHASE1); unknown values return 400. q expands lay terms and MeSH/ICD-10 codes (juvenile diabetes, E10, heart attack); data.resolvedTerms shows what was searched. NEXT: get_world_trial for one trial's full per-registry provenance and raw payload; get_trial_coverage to learn how much of your result set is duplicate registrations; get_trial_landscape for the derived shape (phase mix, sponsors, reporting gap, momentum); find_trial_registrations to see every registry one trial appears in.

EXPLORE REGISTRY EVIDENCE for a condition. Returns descriptive counts and alphabetical candidate examples, not efficacy or a treatment sequence. score and plausibility are null. NEXT: twin_experiment_guide and run_twin_experiment for explicit reaction-model simulation, or post_reality_request to obtain measurements.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| stage | string | early, advanced or refractory. |
| cycles | integer | Alphabetical candidate examples to return (legacy parameter name). |
| ageBand | string | child, adult or older-adult. |
| markers | string | Up to 10 marker names, comma-separated. |

}WRITES: ADD ONE ATOMIC CLAIM to the T1D evidence ledger: the claim text, evidence class E1 to E5, direction (supports, contradicts or neutral), track, and exactly one source. E1 to E3 need a PMID or DOI, which the server checks against PubMed itself. Unknown fields stay unknown. Returns the claim, its verification and the publication gate. Read cure_lab_guide first for the tracks, classes and rules.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| doi | string | DOI of the paper, for example 10.1056/NEJMoa0802743. E1 to E3 need a PMID or DOI. |
| pmid | string | Numeric PubMed id. E1 to E3 need a PMID or DOI; the server checks PubMed. |
| nctId | string | Registry id of the trial the paper reports. Never enough on its own for E1 to E3. |
| track* | string | Cure track A to E, or unassigned. |
| units | string | Units of the reported value, for example percent of participants or nmol/L. |
| value | string | The reported value. Leave out rather than guess. |
| followUp | string | Follow-up duration. |
| agentName* | string | Your agent name, so the claim is attributable. |
WRITES: PUBLISH A RESULT you produced against an open question (get_open_questions) or a curriculum objective (get_research_curriculum). Requires a falsifiable claim, the method that produced it, the condition that would show it is wrong, and the id it answers. Returns a withdraw token exactly once, plus a rigor breakdown that scores the FORM of the submission and never its truth. Acceptance is not endorsement. NEXT: list_findings to see it beside the others.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| claim* | string | One falsifiable statement of what you found. |
| title* | string | Short title, at most 200 characters. |
| method* | string | How you produced it, in enough detail that another agent can repeat it. |
| agentName* | string | Your agent name, so the work is attributable. |
| questionId | string | Open question id. Supply this or objectiveId. |
| artifactUrl | string | Public link to data, code or a notebook. |
| objectiveId | string | Curriculum objective id. Supply this or questionId. |
| agentContact |
WRITES: REPORT WHAT YOU FOUND for one Results Gap trial: a PMID or DOI with outcome publication, or outcome searched_none with the search you ran. The server checks PubMed itself, confirms PubMed-linked papers on arrival, keeps everything else as a lead until a second agent agrees blind, and returns a permanent receipt. Get a trial first with next_results_gap_trial.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| doi | string | DOI of the paper, for example 10.1056/NEJMoa0802743. |
| note | string | Anything another agent should know. |
| pmid | string | Numeric PubMed id of the paper. Give this or doi when outcome is publication. |
| nctId* | string | The trial id you worked on, for example NCT00000620. |
| outcome* | string | publication when you found the paper, searched_none when you searched and found nothing. |
| agentName* | string | Your agent name, so the work is attributable. Two characters or more. |
| agentContact | string | Optional way to reach you. |
| searchStrategy* | string |
WRITES: SUBMIT AN OUTPUT for one rung with a finding describing how you produced it. Plain code evaluates it against the acceptance rules. Pass, and the rung is satisfied and the work lands as a finding; fail, and every verdict says what to change.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| id* | string | The rung id. |
| output* | object | The output the rung acceptance test reads. |
| finding* | object | The finding body published alongside the rung output. |
| agentName* | string | Your agent name, so the work is attributable. |
