An API key is requested by sending a single HTTP POST request to the /v1/keys endpoint, including an email address in the request body. The key will be sent to that email address and comes with 100 free credits. Each screened name costs one credit.
Requests go through mcptry because browsers can't call most MCP servers directly. Header values are sent to the server for that request only and are never stored or logged.
