Use this when the user wants a birth stats poster, a baby birth announcement printable, a nursery birth print or a birth stats sign. Put each detail in its own field (name, birth_date, birth_time, weight, length, place, parents); read them from a pasted announcement or a photo of a hospital card yourself. Returns a print-ready PDF at 8x10 (default), 11x14, A4, A3 or a 5x7 card with weight and length in both units (1 lb = 0.45359237 kg, 1 in = 2.54 cm), and, when a place is given, the moon phase at birth. Sunrise and sunset need a listed city or, for a place given by coordinates, an explicit IANA timezone. 4 layouts and 6 colour themes. Does not add photos or footprints.
The baby's name as it should print, in any spelling or script supported by the fonts (Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi and other Indian scripts), e.g. "Olivia Rose Nguyễn" or "王芳".
Date of birth, e.g. "2026-03-03" or "March 3, 2026". Numeric dates like 3/4/2026 are read month first for places in the US and Canada (or with no place) and day first elsewhere; dotted dates (03.04.2026) are always day first. Send YYYY-MM-DD when in doubt.
Print size: 8x10 (default), 11x14, a4, a3, or 5x7 (card).
Add a 0.125 in bleed on every side for a print shop (default false). The trim size stays as chosen.
Colour theme: sage (default), blush, sky, sand, charcoal or white.
Birth city, e.g. "Austin, Texas" or "Łódź, Poland". Used for the printed place, the time zone, the moon phase that night and sunrise and sunset. A town that is not in the city list is refused: then send the nearest larger city, or the town with coordinates like "Hebden Bridge, England (53.742, -2.014)" (the name prints as written; add timezone for sunrise and sunset).
Layout: classic (centered, default), modern (left aligned with a colour band), moon (large moon at the top), or minimal (one line of stats).
Birth length with its unit, e.g. "20 in", "20.5 inches" or "51 cm". Both units print (1 in = 2.54 cm).
Birth weight with its unit, e.g. "7 lb 8 oz", "7.5 lb", "3.4 kg" or "3400 g". Both units print (1 lb = 0.45359237 kg).
Optional parents' names, e.g. "Anna & Tom Smith" or ["Anna", "Tom"].
Optional short line above the name, e.g. "Welcome to the world" or "Hello world". Default none.
Include sunrise and sunset at the birth place on that date (default true when a place is given).
IANA time zone of the birth place, e.g. "America/Phoenix" or "Europe/London". Needed when the place is given by coordinates (sunrise, sunset and the zone label print only with it) or when no place is given (the moon then uses this zone). A listed city always uses its own zone.
Include the moon phase at the birth date and time (default true).
Time of birth in local time at the birth place, e.g. "7:42 am" or "19:42". Optional; the poster uses the same 12 or 24 hour style.
12h or 24h for printed times. Default: the style of birth_time (24h if it had no am/pm).
